A 19-year-old man has been charged in Illinois after investigators say he planned to attack a Hindu place of worship in Aurora. Authorities allege he travelled to the area carrying an AR-style rifle, around 300 rounds of ammunition and body armour, but the gun jammed when he allegedly tried to fire. Investigators later found Nazi-linked material and an eight-page document that prosecutors say contained racist references to Indians and plans for mass violence. The exact temple target has not been conclusively established. India has called for an investigation and expressed concern over growing anti-India hostility in the United States.
